What is Whiscure?

"Whisper secure"

With Whiscure you can securely share any secrets or private information with someone. The secret is encrypted in your browser and only the person with the link can see it once.
It is based on the idea of the one-time pad and uses AES-256 encryption. The encryption key lives only in the link and never reaches our servers, so we can never read your secret.

How does it work?

1. You create a secret
2. You share the link with someone
3. The person with the link can open it and sees the secret
4. The secret will be deleted
5. You can create a new secret
6. If nobody opens the link, the secret will be deleted after 7 days

Why Whiscure?

Whiscure offers private and secure sharing of secrets. The secret will be encrypted. Only the person with the link can see the secret.

How secure is Whiscure?

Whiscure uses zero-knowledge encryption. Your secret is encrypted in your browser with AES-256 before it is sent. The secret key is placed only in the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to a server. We store nothing but the encrypted text, and it is deleted the moment it is opened (or after 7 days). Even we cannot read your secret.

How long is the secret available?

The secret is available for 7 days. After that, the secret will be deleted.

What happens if I lose the link?

If you lose the link, you can't see the secret anymore. You have to create a new secret.

What happens if I share the link with the wrong person?

If you share the link with the wrong person, the wrong person can see the secret, and it will be deleted. You have to create a new secret.
